A1 Payroll is committed to protecting and safeguarding your personal data. As part of this commitment, we’re updating our privacy policy to meet the new European data protection law, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We at A1 Payroll respect your right to privacy and comply with our obligations under the Data Protection Acts 1988 (amended by the Data Protection Amendment Act 2003). - Stripe and WooCommerce
- All our website sales transactions are handled through our payment services provider, Stripe using WooCommerce. We will share information with our payment services provider only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing payments you make via our website, refunding such payments and dealing with complaints and queries relating to such payments and refunds.
5. Sale of business
We reserve the right to transfer information (including your Personal Data) to a third party in the event of a sale, merger, liquidation, receivership or transfer of all or substantially all of the assets of our company provided that the third party agrees to adhere to the terms of the Website Privacy Policy and provided that the third party only uses your Personal Data for the purposes that you provided it to us. You will be notified in the event of any such transfer and you will be afforded an opportunity to opt-out.

If your credit or debit card account information is being transmitted to our Sites or through our Sites, it will be protected by cryptographic protocols. To be clear, A1 Payroll does not itself store your credit or debit card account information, and we do not have direct control over or responsibility for your credit or debit card account information. We use third-party payment processors that are the controllers of your credit card information. Our contracts with third parties that receive your credit or debit card account information require them to keep it secure and confidential. Our Sites may contain links to other websites or services that are not owned or controlled by A1 Payroll, including links to websites of clients, advertisers, sponsors, and partners. This Policy only applies to information collected by our Sites. We have no control over these third party websites, and your use of third-party websites and features are subject to privacy policies posted on those websites. We are not responsible or liable for the privacy or business practices of any third party websites linked to our Sites. Your use of third parties’ websites linked to our Sites is at your own risk, so we encourage you to read the privacy policies of any linked third-party websites when you leave one of our Sites.
7. Retention, updating, verifying, and deleting personal data retention.
We will retain your information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy and as otherwise needed to comply with applicable law. You may inform us of any changes in your Personal Data, and in accordance with our obligations under the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2002, we will update or delete your Personal Data accordingly.
8. Changes to the website privacy policy
Any changes to this Website Privacy Policy will be posted on this website so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances if any, we disclose it.
